Mold Inspection and Mold Testing Services

Mold Inspection Services offered:

• Mold Inspection and Site Review – site visit to review situation, evaluate mold or moisture condition, and help determine extent of problem. The following services are available:
  • Infra-Red Analysis – included with every mold inspection is an infra-red camera analysis of affected areas, to help with assessment.
  • Mold Air Sample Testing – when necessary, conduct non-viable air sample mold testing of affected areas.
  • Mold Bulk Sample Testing – when necessary, conduct bulk sample mold testing of common affected areas.
  • Laboratory Analysis of Samples – all air samples are sent to an independent testing lab for analysis. A separate report on the samples collected is generated by the lab.
• Mold Air Sample Testing Performed with a Home Inspection
  • We offer mold air sample testing as an add-on service to combine with a general home inspection
  • Standard Testing includes 2 Indoor Air Samples along with an outdoor control/reference sample. More indoor sample location tests can be added as desired for an additional fee per sample.

Note: Mold Air Sample Testing is done in an attempt to identify elevated spore counts present in a home which may indicate a moisture concern that is resulting in mold in the home. The lack of elevated mold spore counts does not mean that mold is not present in the home. Mold may be in hidden locations or behind walls that is not in high enough concentrations that would cause room spore counts to be elevated.
